I am so surprised by some of the previous reviews that I have read! My father had amazing care at this facility. I heard they started a new orthopedic program. I am getting a knee replacement done in a month and I am confident that I will recieve great care & therapy at broadlawn.

Response: We had a family member there who was in their locked "dementia" unit and was treated horrendously, strapped to a wheelchair and drugged out of her mind. She spent too many months in that facility in a horrendous, disgusting environment with a completely uncaring staff. We took her out but by then the damage was done and irreversible. She is now just a shell of the way she was when she went in there. Patients are lined in the hallways strapped in beds and wheelchairs sitting in their own excrement all day long with yelling and screaming going on 24/7. If you aren't crazy, this place will make you crazy! Don't send any loved one there!!!!!! You will regret it!!!!!

This is a great place if you want to see your loved ones sitting in a wheel chair all day drooling on themselves. There are NO daily activities, it is a warehouse for old people who are too helpless to leave. The administrative staff are a bunch of lying, uncaring losers. It is literally a prison with less going on - you will be sorry you placed anyone there. The food sucks and it is always cold. But please, don't believe me - go there yourself, take a tour, listen to their lies. Let them take your money. It is a depressing place, and a sad excuse for elder abuse.

Response: This is a great review. Gerard Kaiser - who is the head administrator - is a loser. He spends his time covering up for the misdeeds and incompetence of the staff. This is NOT a good place for your loved one, they will NOT be cared for properly. Run away as fast as you can!

In rehab section. Aids are non caring and yell at patients. Aids take breaks together quite often, and it could take up to 50 minutes to answer the hall light. Very unsetting!
