The administration at this facility is extremely rude and unprofessional. They act as if you are dirt under their feet. They only have two LPN's and the rest are med tech's. The med tech's are very unfriendly and do not give anyone the time of day. My mother is hard of hearing and is also blind, when the med tech's give her the pills(although they are ALWAYS late) they just shove them at her and leave. I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone.

Excellent. Extremely clean. It is a very well managed assisted living.

Delmar Place is pretty to look at, and the food is good. The care manager services are excellent. But the atmosphere is cold and proper. Staff do not take any time to chat with residents, and I learned that the owners discourage that to be more efficient and cost effective. However, the difference in "Hello, (insert name of resident), here are your pills" and a couple of minutes of social chatting and joking make a lot of difference to an elderly person's feelings of inclusion and happiness. The receptionist and the social director do not talk more than the necessary. No one learned my name or went out of the way to include my father-in-law in activities. He was only invited to activities via a phone call, and not offered to be escorted. I feel he was very isolated and lonely at Delmar Place. I wish we had looked further before deciding on that facility.
