There is nothing I like about this place. My Dad, who was very old but still had all his senses, was in there before he died and the care was horrible. The staff wouldn't take him to the bathroom and was scolding me to try and make him eat. When he passed away a woman that worked there told me that I had to get him out of there at once otherwise he was going to start to stink. I couldn't stop crying. They were treating him like he was just another body, but that body was my Dad. I wouldn't send my dog there.

Though my above responses are positive. What this user complained about is true. and at night the place was like a ghost town. the aides (not yours) would clear your button to contact someone, so the laziness is there. sometimes they tell me that they have 9 people to take care of. and since I had a broken shoulder I was not a priority. I never left with the staff meeting with me. The social worker Donna stopped at my door and told me I was leaving tomorrow (12/26/2015). Tomorrow was a Sunday and got no help or anything. They wanted me out of the door at 9:ooam the next day. No warning, no nothing. So I am home now with no support, and they knew that I was alone.
This is not the way it should have been.

Horrible. Patients have to call for help, no one comes, most of the aides are lazy. My aunt liked physical therapy.

I fell at home and fractured my hip then after surgery developed pneumonia. The nursing staff and therapy staff were excellent , attentive to my every need- they even have a concierge there to get me the news, hot coffee! They had a doctor on staff who was always available-which my friends who have gone to other rehabs often complain about- many rehabs don't have a doctor right on premises. The food was delicious and free family buffet on Saturdays was great for my visitors. The outdoor patio was beautifully landscaped .And I loved the afternoon live entertainment - music was great and Zumba lots of fun! My family and I would highly recommend North Westchester Restorative !

My brother was in northwestchester restorative center for rehab for over 2 months. The care he received was incredible. Everyone was so caring, compassionate and professional. No wonder why most of the physicans and nursing staff at the local community hospital recommend it. And surprisingly my brother did not want to go home. I strongly recommend this local rehab for young and old alike!

I found the nurses first rate, the compassion of the activities staff to the very elderly residents. Family of white residents often racist and mean ( the phrase "these people" flies about). Physical and Occupational Therapists are first rate, hardworking and compassionate.

I love this facility. My mother has been a patient for the last 3 years and they take great care of her. It is disgusting that someone is planting these crazy comments against a great place

My mother was a patient for rehab after she broke her shoulder. The staff was very friendly It looks like a hotel The therapy and nursing care was excellent. I would never have been able to bring her home if it weren't for North Westchester.

Response: I'd hate to see the hotels you stay at. That place is a dump, no one cares about the patients, while visiting we heard numerous people calling for help to be ignored and the CNAs are all sitting around at the nursing station
