My sister had a disasterous stay at Keteri (which is now called Riverside). She was transfered from a month long stay at a hospital in July of 2014. From day one the staff refused to properly administer her medications. When they did give her her perscribed life sustaining medicines they did not give them at the designated times. This caused my sister to go into grave distress and crrisis on a daily basis. When I confronted the staff - remarkably they were ignorant of the medications and denied any trouble at all. When I escalated the issue to the ONLY doctor (taking care of 520 patients) he attempted to 'cover up' the gross negligence of the staff by refusing to address what transpired. He did administer the correct medication for one day but the pattern returned the next day. The facility is disorganized and we do not recommend you

Our family member had a disastrous stay at Kateri.
She was transferred from a hospital for rehab, but Kateri refused to respect her required medications. Even when her Geriatric physician faxed Kateri the required medications, they still refused to administer them. And when I personally approached the staff about this, they knowingly lied and told me that she was being given the proper dosages. Consequently, my aunt is presently suffering from a complete personality change and her dementia has accelerated. Also as a result of this patient neglect, my aunt's behavior has been affected dramatically, whose causes were obvious.
Our family member was also released 60 days too early. Her nurse and doctors were all shocked that she had been returned to her appartment as her rehab had not come close to be completeted.
The nursing staff was very attentive and helpful, but I was discourage anyone from placing a loved one in the Kateri residence.
