My father in law fell out of bed 4 times. He hasn’t got a shower or shave in weeks. He has coded blue 2 times now and was transported to Rochester General. They sent him back and no one will be able to know if he codes blue for a third time as nurses and staff put him in his own room and barely check on him. He lost over 30 pounds in 5 months that Blossom Birw. This is the worst place for any elderly person. They should close this nursing home

The nursing staff do not care about the residents and leave them dirty and wet.My friend was there for a short stay and just had to leave s the care is so POOR. The Director of Nursing position changes monthly as the can not take it any more. The Director screams to all of the staff and call then stupid.
I definately would put any of my family in Blossom View Nursing. The facility is very dirty.
Thank You
My Friend.

As a daughter-in law of a current resident I have been outraged to come to the home for the past 2 weeks and on two occasions found my father-in law having missed lunch and no one could tell me initially whether or not he had had the opportunity to eat. Yesterday, I arrived, to find him on the floor where he had fallen trying to get himself into the bed from his wheelchair. It took an inordinate amount of time for the appropriate staff to arrive that would be able to assist him to get off the floor. In addition to those most flagrant health and safety issues, I have also observed on numerous occasions that his oxygen bottle was empty and again, no one seemed overly concerned. This is for a man who is supposed to be on continuous oxygen. Reading the review based on the Medicare Survey, I was surprised to see a 4 star review, since based on my experience, I would find it difficult to rate this facility any more than failing at its most basic level of care.

Response: I Totally agree my mother resides there and i am very unhappy with the place!!!. They have missed her doses of insulin and she has not been bathed or taken a shower in isay in MONTHS!!!!..THAT IS TOTALLY NEGLECT. Her sugar is high and as far as i know the Doctor has not seen her..Totally uncalled for!!!!!.I have called there several times wanted to discuss this matter and they have not returned my calls...All i have to say is that its a @#$% poor place for anyone to reside there.I Wouldn't recommened anyone to place ther loved one there!!!!.I will take this matter to higher grounds.
