My grandmother is a long term resident of this facility. It's as close to having her at home as I could find. Unfortunately she was in a nursing home on the north fork first (I won't name it), but I moved her the first chance I got. Like I said, it is as close to being at home as is possible. I am a nurse myself, & I appreciate that the director of nursing & assistant (Ann & Patty) personally take care of any concern I have. I am thankful for the good care she receives.

The place is not safe thanks to several poor nurses.

Don't believe the hype. This facility has really taken a nosedive. When the entire management team walked out the front door a few years ago, they've hired some truly uncaring people. My mother has been here for almost four years and the last two have gotten progressively worse. You never see the facility administrator and they have hired and fired more Directors of nursing than I can count. Staff seems very disgruntled and even the good aides and nurses have gotten attitudes. No one seems to care like they used to here. This place was amazing and now its anything but. Thinking about moving Mom to either Riverhead or Hamptons Center.
