User Reviews

03/06/2012  -  An OurParents User Writes:

Our family had visited this facility many months go as we were interested in moving a family member here. It appeared to be clean and we were impressed with some of the equipment and programs they had. Unfortunately, the management staff has had some sort of turnaround since our last visit. No one knows what the last person did, they are extremely rude and not helpful whatsoever. I had high hopes for this place but it's apparent they have some sort of internal issues which overflows to how their staff acts. I wouldn't leave a relative here in part for that reason.

Response: I Agree ...A Inspection need to take place asap... The Staff Is Very Rude ...Lack Of Patient Care !

Description of UniHealth Post - Acute Care of Durham in DURHAM, NC

Number of Beds : 125

Senator John Glenn once said, “Too many people, when they get old, think they have to live by the calendar.” A rejection of ‘calendar living’ perfectly describes the kind of world the senior living industry creates for millions of Americans over 55. Senior living is a lifestyle of personal choice. Those in senior living communities are never beholden to the calendar. They are free to be as active or inactive as they wish. If they want to relax and watch TV, they are free to do that, too. If they are healthy and independent and wish only to take advantage of fine housing, home-cooked meals, and cleaning services, they are free to do so. If they need assistance with some aspects of daily living, that type of community is available, too. Senior living also includes housing for those who require daily medical care as well as care for seniors who want to stay in their own homes. A well-organized system of care, senior living welcomes you for what YOU want to do.
