I personally have never worked nor been fired from this facility. Yet I know from visiting and being associated with the staff and residents here that all of these reviews are CORRECT.

Half of the things you read about this place is workers who were fired for not doing there job and I have to say the food is great and healthy. 3 meals a day and 6 snakes a day. Ice and water is passed out on every shelf and when ever needed. So the care it's great everyone is checked in every 1hour, each worker is taking turns walking to halls at all time. So who ever has bad things to say are mostly girls that was fired for not doing there job the right way.

Residents are ignored and not changed in a timely manner. Appropriate equipment is not supplied to take care of residents. Residents have no rights at this facility!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Employees spend most of their day smoking it away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVE ONE AT THIS PLACE!

This place is terrible. When you walk into this place the first thing you smell is urine. I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this @#$% hole. The residents aren't provided with proper sheets. The elastic has been so worn out that they don't even stay on the beds. The employees are not given the proper gloves. Instead of providing medical gloves employees are forced to wear food preparation gloves which have holes in them. When residents ask for snacks/water they are ignored. Most of the employees mistreat the residents and aren't respectful of their rights as patients. The women who own this pathetic excuse of a business are so money hungry they don't care what happens to the residents. All they care about is ripping people off so they can afford their river pools and country club living. It is a terrible place to be employed. The staff is sickly sweet to get you to work there and act like it is normal to treat human beings like animals. Also, half of the people who work at this @#$% hole aren't even CNA's. DO NOT PUT ANYONE THAT YOU LOVE HERE. THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE.

Wow I just ran across this site.. wish I had of read this before we put my Momm in this place. The only thong good I can say about here is the location. I just visited her and the med nurse was bouncing around like a ping pong ball I don't think she knew weather she was coming or going..very scary since my mother always seems under or over dedicated never level. I'm notifying @#$% of this lady and my worries. I wish we'd read this site before we chose!!

This facility is of poor quality. My family member was found after about two months with a lot of weight lose, severe dehydrated, malnourished, heavily drugged and put in a wheelchair to sleep. Had to be removed for emergency care. Severe damage done. Now my loved one is in hoptice. Dying way too soon. Families should always be present checking on your loved one. Ask many questions and DO NOT GIVE THEM THE RIGHT TO DO WHATEVER THEY FEEL THEY NEED TO DO!!! Families be pro-active. Stay on them! Hold them accountable for the care they give. Remember they are being paid fir a service

Response: They are being paid for a service and they should provide the service they are paid for. Shame on the workers and the one who oversees the facility for all their neglect. I would never recommend this place for family care.

Response: Our friend fell, was not seen by a doctor, was semi-conscious taken to a hospital because we called ambulance, had to be defibrillated in ER....died a few weeks later. Don't take your loved ones to Brockford.

I have witnessed evidence of poor care and would not recommend Brockford or Camelot. Ask to see their most recent surveys by the state.

not sure why my review did not show the 5 stars that I selected...I do hope this one reflects the fact that I give this facility the maximum number of stars

Response: Why? they need to be shut down!!

Brockford Inn, located in Granite Falls, North Carolina is the worst assisted living facility I have run across. I give this facility NO STAR RATING:however; I had to rate it or this review would not be submitted...DSS will be notified, as well as the State Board.... This facility has no respect for the residents privacy, they leave the medicine carts un-attended in the hallways where anyone can pick up a cup full of meds. The residents have no privacy curtains, they have terrible food which most of the time is not healthy or tasty. The men residents are allowed to walk into the women residents rooms and pull them out of their beds and even slap them across the face... Several residents have been hurt because of neglect. Some of the residents have been given the wrong meds, and even though the staff has a list of the meds each resident is supposed to take AND the meds they are allergic to, the med techs give the residents the wrong meds anyway. Also there are no emergency lights or buttons in the residents rooms for emergency help, and some of the rooms have no bathroom.. Residents are allowed to go into rooms and plunder into other residents belongings. Those residents who are confined to a wheelchair or bed has no way to move about. This is a disgrace and the DSS and State health Department needs to get involved. The patients and family of the patients have rights. The facilities are paid well to take care of these elderly or physically challanged residents, and they need to be fined( and corrected) or closed down entirely.... The owners and the management are there to make money, not to care for the residents. Family members are not notified of falls or accidents when they occur......Make a stand.. Take care of your family member!!!!!

Response: That's not all they make there employees decline the hep. B vaccine witch is against the law. They also have the NA mess with the patients oxygen and that's illegal too. That's just scrapping the bucket.

Response: That's not true. They make u take a hep test drug test and a background check
