04/21/2012 An Current/Past Employee Writes: After a couple years of employment at this facility I feel like I am qualified to make an honest assesment of this facility and staff. I would strongly encourage any family member who is considering placing a loved one at this facility or anyone seeking potential employment at this facility to consider all of their options. First, let me begin with saying that the current physical therapy staff members and Speech Therapist are very caring and compassionate individuals and are commited to their patients. However, this facility is extremely understaffed and does not provide adequate nursing assistant to their patients. I have advocated for many of the residents there in order to ensure that needs were met. Unfortunately, when concerns are addressed with the administrator or DON there is never a plan of action set in place to ensure the highest level of quality of care is met for the patient's and resident 's on a daily basis. I have seen on many occassions where there was no accountability placed on the administrator or DON for their lack of responses to very important and sometimes unsafe situations. I personally would not consider placing my mother or any family member of mine at Adams Farm Living & Rehab. This building is also very old and very unclean and they have had an ongoing issue with insects. In addition, the rehab company has not provided adequate equipment to ensure that patients reach their highest functional level of mobility and the facility will not and has not replaced a number of wheelchairs that are not functioning properly. I feel that the administration at this facility is revenue driven and strives to meet the absolute minimum requirements governing long term care. Therefore, with the abundance of well qualified facilities in the area there is no excuse for placing a family member or loved one at this poorly ran facility.

12/31/2010 An Current/Past Resident Writes: This place is AWFUL. I do not reccomend it to anyone. The staff will treat you like gold the first couple hours after you arrive, but after that they barely treat you at all. The CNA's here are rude, act as if they dont like their jobs, and take FOREVER to come help you when you turn your light on. Don't be fooled by their FAKE niceness when you check out the facility, because that is definitely not how it is. The nurses here do not even know what they are doing. You ask them to look at something and they're response is always, oh its nothing, its alright. Im young, was only there for short-term rehab, so I am in my right mind, and do not reccomend you to leave you're parents or loved ones here. They will not get proper care!

Response: Every point that was made in this review is absolutely accurate.
