June 2016, BEWARE, Cockroach and Ant infestation. Approximately 25 to 30 patients to one Nurse. The bedding smells. The food is undesirable, this is why those stuck there are rapidly losing weight. Just last week a family came to visit there loved one and a Doctor not affiliated with Wellington, North Carolina Facility has determined the patient has been severely neglected. Thank god the patient has been removed and now the facility is being investigated! Again, BEWARE! Read all the reviews before your loved one spends anytime in this facility.

I have my mother in Wellington, but I'm quickly moving her out. The staffing is far most worse than I have ever seen. It's like management likes to be short always hiring and firing. Mother always has somebody new. The linen , getting towels and ect for bathing it's like laundry doesn't like to give to the cna's working. The smell lingers of somebody being changed. The paint makes me feel like I should paint for the facility. The food that's a different story. And not to mention this one particular nurse who is foreign on station 2. She treats the cna's terrible, the way she talks to them. If she talks to her fellow employees that way. I could imagine how her rudeness is towards the patients . I also don't see how it can have any stars? Terrible Run run as fast as you can!

Terrible place . . . Seen a resident on the light for 45 minutes no-one came to help. Nurses sit at the nurse's station and play music on there' phones. . Under staffed , the building is falling apart but the administrater has a picture of her children in the hall. But the paint is terrible the halls smell, the nurses station is a disgrace. Bathrooms omg nasty. And not to mention the bugs crawling around. I even heard one of the cna say she seen a cockroach in a patients diaper!

Response: 3 stars are you kidding. The short staff, the smell, I quest I have never been there when they had to use pillow cases and blankets to give a bath and when the tech's have to serve for bath soap from every patients room when they don't have none in the supply room!!! Plus The shower room on station 1 looks terrible . They give the poor residents Graham Crackers, old stale animal crackers as a snack all the time. Clearly another reason why the residents loose weight and don't want to eat. I moved my father to another facilitie! He gets up. Have meal choices where you get to pick from a menu. A variety, less patients on the workers because they have more staff & love the shower team. It means he gets his showers. Not only when the staffing is available. Wellington needs to get it together.

Response: I truly believe whomever wrote this must be affiliated in some way with this nasty, unclean facility! People wake up and READ all the reviews. If majority are bad, use your common sense! Run like hell and if your in a wheel chair, wheel like hell outta there! I'm not being funny, I'm being dead serious.

Response: Upon visiting a family member, they very seldom get showers and when they do, they have to share soap. Who does that? My family member had bugs crawling in her bed and in her hair. The facility called an exterminator to spray, which forced the bugs to crawl on the ceiling, which caused the bugs to drop on the bed during evening. 0 stars -
