My Mother was in nursing care at Abernethy Laurels for approx. 8 weeks. She received wonderful care and compassion while there. The building is older, but the care makes up for it. The rehab therapy did an excellent job in getting her back home (where she wants to be).

I have worked at Abernethy Laurels for 3 years and it is the best job that I have ever had. The staff here are wonderful to work with. The residents are sweet and very energetic. There are many activities available to residents at all levels of care and abilities. The facility and grounds are beautiful. The most common complaint that I hear from residents is that they wished they had come here sooner, so that they could have enjoyed more of their years in this maintenance-free, carefree lifestyle. I would have to agree with that. I wished I had come to work here sooner. It is a wonderful place to live and work.

The staff at Abernethy Laurels gave my Mother the best care. The food and atmosphere in the dining room was superior. She loved the therapy staff. I would rate them #1 in the area. Activities were wounderful . Her only regret was that she did not come sooner.
