Great if you want to be lied to about your families care. I wouldn't recommend this place for my dying dog.

Response: This place gets a 5 star rating because management knows how to fool the inspectors. If the state really looked hard enough they would find this is a two star facility at best. They cannot keep staff because they are not treated fairly and leave after they learn the truth. Be careful putting your loved ones in here, they might not last long after being admitted.

five stars? they should have maybe two. they are under staffed and the staff they have are too busy to help residents with little needs. The director is not concerned about the opinions of the families, and you are lucky to even get a meeting with her. There is no infection control, the poor aides there must deal with patients who have active MRSA with no protective gear. Spreading infection to other residents.

The staff of Dosher Nursing Center makes a tremendous effort to provide the best possible care for their residents. The activities offered in addition to the traditional games, movies, classes, etc., are unbelievable. (i,e, fishing, water wheelchair events, dining and shopping trips for those that are able, and the list goes on. The philosophy and standards of this facility create an atmosphere of "home" and a plaque on one wall states "we work in our residents' home."

To find a new ("'home") for a loved one is a very difficult undertaking. Knowing that the doctors, nurses, staff, and volunteers provide attentive medical care, emotional and social support, and a loving atmosphere makes this job easier.

My best to all staff and residents at Dosher Nursing Center and to the staff and employees of J. A. Dosher Memorial Hospital,
