Do not go or put any of your family members at this facility. My mother in law had pneumonia, and rehab was advised to get her strengthened. She went to the rehab from the hospital. She became weaker and was experiencing pain. She was there two weeks and we came and checked her out. We took her to the hospital from the rehab where we discovered that she had 10 BED SORES!!! Who has ten bed sores in a rehab?? ( A place that specializes in mobility issues) Aren't they suppose to know to turn patients, and check for wetness? One of the bedsores was on her tail bone and was a grade 3 bedsore. My husband and I who have absolutely NO medical training have gotton her up, treated her sores, (mostly by keeping her dry ) and she is improving. She is eating more and gaining strength. This should speak volumes about the care of this facility, when two non medical people get better results!! She literally was at deaths door when we checked her out. These rehab facilities are not cheap, and you have choices... Pick another rehab for your loved one, because their life may depend on it. DO NOT GO HERE EVER !!!

Brian Center needs a complete overhaul. The staff is not given updates on new patients. They have no idea what the problem is with the patient. They do not have enough staff. The patient is not cared for with respect and caring. The place is dirty in all areas. Patients are left to do for themselves even at death. The admin staff have no idea of how to talk with family. They do not look at what is best for the patient in any way. I would never wish for anyone to have to endure a stay at Brian Center. Between laying in wet diapers, bed sores, not having infections taken care of. A staff of doctors who do not have a clue. Patient allowed to lay for 6 hours at death without being given meds to keep them comfortable. Overall I am assumed that the place even exits. I had to have some place for my loved one to stay, because of location and the fact moving was against the advise of Hospice I continue to let my family member stay in what I feel was torment to her the last days. I pray something is done and no other person has to endure. I know they are I watched the lack of care. Patients that were let to go without food because the staff said they did not have the time to feed them. I seen call buttons put to were the patient could not get to it. Get help because one day it could be you.
