I would not recommend this facility to anyone for any reason. My mother in law suffered a mild stroke and needed rehab. Our first choice wasn't available but after touring Trinity Glen we thought it was the right place. She also has Alzheimers and we were assured by the Administrator they had good memory care. It is a new facility and has nice grounds however about 50% of the nursing staff is well trained. You can ask 3 nurses the same question and receive 3 different answers. We moved her after a week because i visited her one day at 11 am and she was still in bed with a wet depends on because they were short staffed and didn't have a nurse for her section. Her linen reeked of urine. After complaining to the Director, she assured me it would be taken care of, there was no change. The food is horrible and shouldn't be served to anything and definitely not humans. On numerous occasions, it was grossly overcooked and served cold. One dinner, several people couldn't bite or cut into a Reuben sandwich because the bread was sooo hard. Another instance the chicken tenders were sooo hard it reminded me of the Charlies Angels movie when she threw the muffin and put a whole in the wall. We moved her after one week because she wasn't feeling well one day and when I asked the nurse if there was a doctor on duty she told me no, they would have to call an ambulance if she needed to see a doctor. I checked her out and took her to the hospital where they diagnosed her with a UTI. When we left the hospital her blood pressure was high and advised me to have Trinity Glen give her her medicine. We arrived back to the facility that evening and I informed the nurse on duty at 7 pm, she needed her blood pressure medicine because it was high when we left the hospital. I was told she would be given it. I asked for her blood pressure medicine 3 times from 7p to 10p before the nurse came and said, they couldn't give it to her because it wasn't on her list of medication for the evening. and she would have to call the doctor to get it changed. I said, call the doctor because I wasn't leaving until she had it. She said, she would but never did. She had someone check her blood pressure and it was lower but still not in normal rang. This was the last straw. We checked her out the next day.

Trinity Glen is not a good place to take your love one. My mother had no heat for two days, along with others residents on January 23 and 24, 2014.

This facility provides terrible care while smiling in your face & telling you how much they care about your loved one. We complained about the lack of care from day one. Use unethical - high pressure scare tactics once your medicare time runs out to try to force you to stay with them at $6,400 a month. We moved our loved one out - they told us they did all the paperwork to make the transition smoothe - they did nothing! Leaving our loved one without vital medication he needs. They did NO paperwork for anything - refused to share medical records which is totally wrong! Bottom line - poor quality care & they are only worried about what you can put in their bank account! STAY AWAY ! ! !

Response: I agree totally with you. Some of the patients have no right or say when it comes to problems or concerns they ae having. What i'm trying to say the administrative staff at the place is prejudice. I have a love one there and i witnessed it first hand. They say one thing and do another. You are also right about the medical records. They want you to pay so much for each page. State needs to investigate this place and administration and they need to do this soon.
