Just in case my review got torn up, I wanted to let someone know about Monday, Oct 11, 2010 - around 11:00 am on four north. I, as a patient was having a major panic attack - in fact hyperventilating, and the ONLY support was from my peers - the other patients.. Caren, a middle aged young black female with short hair screamed at them to get back in their seats - that the staff was "aware" of the situation. Which NO ONE from the staff came over to talk me through it. If it hadn't been for one of the residents who was also a mother, I would have definitely hyperventilated and have had to go to the emergency room. This woman, Caren was looked upon in disgust with every single patient. She (Caren) brought NOTHING but hatred with her and her "presumably" professionalism which was underlined with an arrogance and a condescending attitude which made each and every patient want to avoid her. Please PLEASE for future patients sake, either make her have a better attitude or GET HER OFF THE STAFF!!! She was the only staff member who made me want to take my life while I was in the "prison"..

If you are over fifty-five and are looking for a more comfortable, enjoyable, and convenient way of life, modern-day senior living may be just what you need. Senior living consists of two components: a new kind of housing and a new way of life. When you've grown weary of lawn upkeep, home repairs, and the daily cleaning and maintenance of your home, senior living is a wide, welcoming avenue worthy of exploration. There's independent living, where you take care of yourself (minus only the cooking and housekeeping), to more intense forms of compassionate assistance, such as in nursing or memory care, available around-the-clock. You are encouraged to examine the many styles of senior living and consider a new, convenient way of life.
