Fell three times while in care.

05/07/2012  -  An OurParents User Writes:

This facility was always short on bed pads, sheets & blankets. My family member was a high risk for falling and compression fractures, yet they never provided a bed/chair alarm. My family member fell 3 times while in this facility. When I visited my family member was almost always wet. There were some very good people employed at this facility, however they majority didn't impress me and the ones who try are overwhelmed and not given the equipment they need to do their job correctly.

Description of Autumn Health Care of Cambridge in CAMBRIDGE, OH

Built In 2006 , Number of Beds : 50

Senator John Glenn once said, “Too many people, when they get old, think they have to live by the calendar.” A rejection of ‘calendar living’ perfectly describes the kind of world the senior living industry creates for millions of Americans over 55. Senior living is a lifestyle of personal choice. Those in senior living communities are never beholden to the calendar. They are free to be as active or inactive as they wish. If they want to relax and watch TV, they are free to do that, too. If they are healthy and independent and wish only to take advantage of fine housing, home-cooked meals, and cleaning services, they are free to do so. If they need assistance with some aspects of daily living, that type of community is available, too. Senior living also includes housing for those who require daily medical care as well as care for seniors who want to stay in their own homes. A well-organized system of care, senior living welcomes you for what YOU want to do.
