Warning! This facility is not safe or pleasant for its residents. It has recently went under new management however some things are not going to change because a nursing home is a business and every business is out for a dollar. The staff to resident ratio is very poor. Two STNAs are tending to a minimum of 40 residents during the day and afternoon shift and one on the night shift. I'm talking about extensive total care residents. They can not be properly fed changed bathed dressed or groomed. Its very sad but true. Same goes for the nurses. Too many residents for the LPNs to assess provide medications and treatments. One LPN to 40 residents. There are many RNs but there jobs are all about scoring the residents to bill for as many services as possible and hiding destroying and flat out lying to family members about a residents conditions when they become very or fatally ill from and understaffed facility. Its not the floor staffs fault but they have to take the blame when a complaint comes along. Its the administrative staff that make them work so hard and there's no way to keep up with that kind of patient load. Being blunt is the only way for the community to know the facts. The therapy team is the only good thing. Those therapists should seek employment elsewhere.
