For the most part bad smells at a minimun. Nurses are mostly polite with a few snubs. The aides and cleaning crew were very polite. I notice not enough staff to care for residents. Office staff however not so polite. Gossip about other people in front of visitors about their "personal opinions" on residents families. Not very professional, didn't they teach them respect with the degree and isn't it against the law to disclose information in front of other visitors? I heard names of residents and their family.

I should of went on my first instinct about some of the workers in this plave, but I didin't. All is okay until insurance runs out. They think you can place your loved one somewhere else with a snap of a finger..It is not easy to have family member so far away and in a facility because a doctor plaved them their. They are Not willing to work around family schedule upon family request. Shady running. They make appiontments for the family and expect them to be there even though they cannot take off work and it costs a lot of funds to get there. A minumum wage person cannot afford to take off work drop everything and run sixty to seventy miles one way. Family tries to explain they say they understand but when it gets to the nitty gritty they will stop at nothing to get a non paying patient out even if it means it is dangerous for the patient to live on their own. I think the nurses treat her well but for the system and the ones running the place need to be reviewed. They are suppose to help family make a safe release. When they make a few phone calls and tell the family there is no place they can find and you have tried everywhere as well triple times then what? And because I am unable to have my loved one live me and provide, they get legal help involved to try and talk you into giving up guardianship. Shame on them! Family should do what they can for family places like this is suppose to help and make accomadations with the family not work against you. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY NOT THE WELL BEING OF A PERSON.
