There is more to consider than just being a nice, pretty place. Slow response by staff. Inconsistent nursing care. Strange rules of checking vitals several times throughout the night even when the patient was only there for rehab, and rule of getting patients get dressed at 5 a.m., making it impossible to get more than 4 hours of sleep a night. Rule of not being allowed to get up out of bed or out of a chair without help (even if you were physically able), but staff wouldn't come back for hours. Definitely in our case, the patient was not getting better with lack of sleep and rule of sitting/lying around all the time.
