This facility is lacking in leadership. The administrator is seldom seen. The majority of the nurses aides are lazy, non caring individuals that spend their time eating, smoking, talking on their cell phones, and chatting amongst themselves while ignoring the cries of the residents for help. It is sickening. Whomever is in charge of the aids needs to do their job. If the aides are not going to straighten up, and WORK, they need to be replaced. On the bright side The housekeepers are caring and work hard. The receptionist and activities ladies are pleasant, and caring. The social worker has been helpful. There are two aids Brook and Maria who ARE doing their job, the rest are useless. Think long and hard before you place your loved one here, especially if they are bedridden and totally dependant upon the aides

I was in this hole as a rehabilitation patient due to a major injury. This place is unclean, unsanitary and has some of the worse caring assistants i have ever encountered. I have heard for years about the nightmare of these places and the reality has hit i now am a true believer. I hit my call light (nurse assistance needed alarm) and have recorded numerous times of response ranging from 5 min to 69 min. with a average around 20 min. How long do you want your loved one lying hurt in the floor? I was there over 3 weeks and only recieved minimal rehab care of maybe 3 hrs a week at best. This is a sad place where residents sit and beg for help upon def ears complain of falling and being hurt and no one checks them out to see if they are or not. and the nutrition well i wouldnt feed this food to anyone other than child predators in prison. Add a dash of poision ofcourse. The night nurse and aids are known to disapear for hours on end with no accountability even when reported. Please if you care at all about your loved ones do not bring them here for any long term.

Response: Glen Meadows is lacking in leadership. Whoever is in charge of the nurses aids is not doing their job. Some of the aids are caring and responsive to the patients needs, but the majority are lazy, uncaring people with a bad attitude. They sit at the nurses station eating, talking amongst themselves, talking on their cell phones, or outside smoking while the cries of the patients are ignored. If you have a choice, do not choose this facility

Response: I worked at this facility as a nurse aide and I totally agree with the complants regarding how lazy the nuraw and aides are. My co-worker and supervisor nurse would disappear constantly leaving me by myself on my first night of training. I quit right after that.
