Don't send anyone to Altercare of Hilliared Rehabilittion. They did not take care of my mom, they weren't changing her, they were not getting her out of bed, they put the call button were she could not reach it. I had to threaten to call a squad the day she was seen by one of their doctors and was left struggling to breath. She was taken out at 5:15 she was dehidraded when she got to the hospital and passed at 4:50am of SEVERE SEPSIS. I had told them from the previous Sat to when she was running a fever of 101.8 until Thursday when she was taken to the hospital that she was not breathing right, NO ONE WOULD LISTEN to me, all they kept telling me was her oxgen level was blah blah. It doesn't matter what her oxgen level was you had to be blind not to see how she was struggling to breathe, so how did a doctor see her on that Thursday and leave her like that. One of the signs of sepsis is breathing all ignored because they wouldn't listen to me & the place is was VERY SHORT STAFFED. Can't understand how a doctor could have left her struggling to breathe all day. I promise this all really happened.

Awful not enough staffing one nurse on a skilled unit after 11 no one answers a call light the help gossips about families residents and other staff at the desk more than giving care I knew more about other residents than my own family a huge nurse spent more time eating and complaining than giving care as I waited for a call light to be answered when I asked for help I was given eye rolls and excuses by this red faced nurse I couldn't believe the care my friend received it was awful
