User Reviews

I don't know about the care that they give here but I can tell you at Christmas time they decorate outside everywhere and it looks like a winter wonderland scene. It's absolutly beautiful! It is very nice looking from the outside tear round and seems as if they take great pride in the appearence of the establishment which is a good sign. If they take care of there clients as well as they take care of there place then I would say this is a excelent place. I have only heard good things about Heather Ridge.

Heather Ridge is an assisted living facility. Assisted living facilities are an apartment-style habitat designed to focus on providing assistance with daily living activities. They provide a higher level of service for the elderly which can include preparing meals, housekeeping, medication assistance, laundry, and also do regular check-in's on the residents. Basically, they are designed to bridge the gap between independent living and nursing home facilities. When thinking about how to pay for care, assisted living facilities are generally less expensive than nursing homes, if assisted living is a viable option for your loved one.

Also, Heather Ridge facility provides Alzheimer's care. This means it has special safeguards for wandering seniors, and caregivers are trained in handling dementia behaviors.

Also, Heather Ridge care provider provides hospice care. Hospice care is an infusion of home care and facility care provided to benefit terminally ill patients and support their families through their tough times.

We offer a family type setting in our homes. Our campus is comprised of 8 homes that house 12-16 residents in each unit. Our monthly rent is an all enclusive rate, with the an exception for transportation. We offer medication reminders and assistence with ADL's. For a full list of what we do and who we are please visit our website: www.heatherridgewelcomesyou.com. Our level of care services are from semi-independant to Alzheimer care. Heather Ridge is able to provide care for respit as well as for those who need hospice (we work with a great hospice program that allows our residents to stay here until the end).
