My Mom has lived here for 3+ years. We were happy when it was Emeritus & have noticed staffing improvements & quality improvements in the dining room. I would & have recommended this facility for other families.

My father was kicked out for having advanced level dementia.

Originally, he entered the assisted livinging area and was charged a "one-time only" community fee.

When he began exhibiting signs of dementia, they recommended placing into the memory care unit and was charged an additional community fee.

Two months after entering the memory care unit, we recieved notice he had 30 days to vacate due to his behavior problems (caused by advanced-level dementia.)

Ironically, these were the same behavior problems he exhibited while in Assisted Living.

Apparently, they wanted to score an additional community fee prior to kicking him out for having dementia.

Although the staff claims to be specialty-trained; I saw no evidence of it.

I saw no evidence to suggest they even attempt to encourage mental stimulation. Sorry, parking patients in front of a TV for most of the day doesn't count.
