Quality of care is lacking. Therapy programs are good, but the facility is understaffed. People wait long periods of time before someone comes to check on them when they need something. Unless the patient has family there to see to the problem, the patient gets minimal attention.
Staff is friendly, and they are doing their best, but they need more nurses. Too many patients are assigned to one nurse. Food service is good, but there is often miscommunication between staff members as to food preferences of patients.
Cleanliness of the facility is also lacking. Floors need swept, public restrooms need attention and common areas also lack attention to detail.
Management should consider hiring additional staff at all levels in order to improve quality of care. They should also find a way to take better care of the well being of the employees they do have, in order to prevent burn out.
Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg is not a place I would recommend.

The staff including the nurse practioner and overseeing physician were not knowledgable and skilled to meet needs for my mother in regards to a wound that developed while under their care and as it continued to worsen and they repeatedly stated that they had cared for and treated wounds such as her's? ultimately WE had to make the decision to send her to the hospital as the staff did not recognize she was difficult to awaken and now unable to stand on her leg with the outcome being emergency surgery and loss of her leg.
