We provide a family atmosphere and treat the clients like family. We have over 18 years of experience working with MRDD patients, mental health patients and the elderly. Our clients rooms are all on one floor and our room is also on the same floor. Someone is always here 24/7 and our clients are never alone just in case their might be a problem. We have a large living room and a TV is the living room. There is a large front porch that goes across the front of the house so the clients can enjoy the weather outside, or they go outside to smoke. We provide three meals a day and everyone eats at the same time, and everyone eats together in the dining area. We live in a small village and there is quite a few things the clients can do. They can eat out if they have the money and choose to do so, there is also a library within walking distance, and a store that has snacks. We live 2 blocks away from the Ohio river so in the summer the clients can enjoy walking down the picnic area. Our home does not provide skilled nursing and we do not have a nurse on staff. We do all the laundry so the clients don?t have to and we cook all the food. The clients are not allowed in the kitchen area, because we don?t want an accident to occur.
