Administrating staff, GERALD COX, refused to give me the corporates phone number and demanded I come in to talk to him in person for the phone number regarding my payroll. On top of this I have been trying to get some answers regarding my check and he ignored all of my emails. Then tried to claim he sent several emails to the email he has on file, which we have communicated through my email several times, but I HAVE NO EMAILS REGARDING DIRECT DEPOSIT UNTIL I ASKED. On top of this the facility is filled with mean, rude, attitude filled employees. Ask the residents! This place is a joke!

That place is absolutely horrible! My mother went there for physical therapy after leaving the hospital and all they did was let her lay in bed! She was in better health before she went in there she always seemed like she was drugged always sleeping. They seriously need to shut that dump down I wouldn't recommend anyone sending anyone there. Always smelled horrible in there, no phones in the rooms. Shut it down!

Springfield Manor nearly killed my grandmother. They kept her sedated to the point that she could no longer walk, talk, or eat. She eventually stopped breathing and was rushed to the hospital. She was only in that facility for 7 months before being transferred to a better one. She is now doing much better and has the ability to walk, talk, and eat again.

i'm really sad to see the director of nursing leave. she has been a god send to this facility and has been whipping it in to shape. i really wish she would change her mind and stay. this place has made some major turn around and we owe it all to her. she will certainly be missed. wherever she is going that place will get an awesome director. thank you kelli for your hard work and dedication to our residents and to us employees

This facility does put the residents first each and everyday. I highly recommend that anyone interested come and visit to see for themselves what a spacious area there is for resident s to dwell. There is a wide variety of activities and outings available. A nice place to live or convalesce.

the responses/concerns listed below are no longer occurring. there is new upper management that takes care of issues/problems. they have had a lot of turnover in nursing staff because management gets rid of the "bad" employees. and the violent behavior patients have also been moved elsewhere. there is a different feel to the facility, staff and management. the facility is old and historic. it's not a state of the art look but looks are not everything. my loved one is there and gets great care. she loves the staff. no matter where you go, you're going to find issues or have complaints. no one is perfect. but springfield manor has gotten much better.

Feel they are very awesome with the residents there, Very clean and professional

Response: I think they must of paid the family member to give these rating the major of residents do not get showered the staff stating the residents refuse one resident was found with ants crawling all over her bed, night stand and yes the resident she is unable to share information it was so sad i just cant believe the smell it is so bad that the doctor complains.

Springfield Manor is now taking in patients with severe mental health issues without providing enough training for the staff to know how to deal with the violent behaviors of some of those patients. They provide inadequate psychological services and very few activities to occupy their time.

Response: I guess you could say that they put medicine in the residents food without evening letting the family, quardian know this resident refused medicine so the staff decided to put in her food without letting anyone know then the admin found out and was trying to get someone to get the guardian to not know the resident had been getting medicine in their food for 2 wks so sad the same resident was placed on the lock down unit but has now been allowed to come in and out of unit at her own this is so dangerous they continue to offer the lock down unit pop and candy if they don't hit another person, however recently a resident continued to hit others so they transferred her to another home without the guardian even knowing they now have a lawsuit this facility is nasty and dangerous

Please don't take your parent or grandparent there. It is just like a warehouse for humans. They don't discuss with family members about a patient health with you. I had power of health over my mother and they knew she had breast cancer and never told me about it. Is this a place where you want to send your loved ones to.

Response: Oh this is so true there is a lady now that has breast cancer who had not had a check up in years they suspected someone was wrong after years of swelling so now everyone is getting breast check ups. the staff recently found ants crawling in bed with a resident that can not move or talk is this what you want your love one to go through

Response: It is sad that a disgruntalled employees make these comments

Response: I am not a disgruntled employee and I don't like Springfield Manor. My name is Brandy Carson and my grandmother was there for 7 months. In those 7 months I seen her health deteriorate. I think Springfield Manor needs to be shut down. She now lives at Glen Wood Alzheimer's Community and is doing a whole lot better. I would suggest sending your loved ones there.
