03/28/2013 An Current/Past Resident Writes: I have been here for 20 days , and am leaving today 3/28/2013. I picked this home because its only a block away from my sons home. I made a good choice ! In the 20 days I was here I was served the same dinner only once every day it was something different. The food is/was very good. The nursing staff is some of the best I've been around. everyone will bend over backwards to help you here. I've been to other nursing homes in the area visiting sick relatives over the years and most smelled like urine. Not here, the cleaning staff work hard no nasty smells here. The setting here is quaint , they are investing 2 million dollars for upgrades they have a new ford bus to take residents out to eat and other activities. I am very happy with the physical therapists Missy and michelle I have nothing but good to say about Maplecrest ! Jon Long 814-350-0386
