Mom moved in expecting to pay around $3,000 according to their brochure and adding extras. Costs are now $5,000 per month, they steered her into more expensive room, denied twice to get her emergency or urgent care when her COPD flared up, the head nurse acts like a doctor and give wrong information, mom's room was kept very hot 90 degrees due to a broken thermostat, and musty, the food is mediocre-- my brother would not even eat it. Mom complains that staff won't help her at night. The Ohio Ombudsman even mentioned the dirty room and "why aren't they cleaning the room when they charge so much?" Do not go here.

The Lindley Inn sets up on a hill surrounded by beautiful trees. When you enter, you feel like you are walking into your grandparents home. I was pleasantly surprised at the greeting I received as I came into the building. It smells of baked goods, offerings of a snack or something to drink by more than one person. The staff is so pleasant, seem as if they truly care. It seemed very well kept, very fresh and clean. There were activities going on with some ladies making a quilt and a large group in another activity. The rooms I saw were very inviting. The dog greeted me and the courtyard is beautiful with the trees blooming.

The Inn has increased the quality of their staff, but they are still chronically understaffed and patients don't get the quality of care promised. Food is often a complaint - just plain, drab, and un-appetizing. Rooms are not kept clean to the point that they often stink. The staff tryies hard but the management comes across as stingy and more concerned with keeping costs to a minimum than providing good care. Staff blames the parent company for the chronic understaffing.
