I moved my dad into Caldwell house recently. It has been the best thing for our family. I read several reviews and I have to be honest I was a little concerned. I toured the facility and tried the food. Everything was great in my opinion. Staff has been wonderful to my dad and he's the happiest hes been in years. I think most of these reviews are from angry employees that have left the house. I wouldn't change anything!

I had to place my mother in assisted living in September 2014. The Caldwell House is the best move I made for her. She is in a very safe environment. The facility has always been clean when my family has been there - which has been often. The staff - nurses and aids have been extremely helpful to my mother. They have set with her during the might when she was not felling well just to make sure she was ok. My mother is a very picky eater - she is always telling me how great the food is there. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe place for their parents.

I have worked at The Caldwell House. It was a horrible experience. The budget for food, staff, and supplies was extremely low! I have seen what goes on behind the kitchen doors....I wouldn't even eat the food! The aides do not have to have any experience in care, so the care is very poor!

I have worked for this employer and I must say the managment is horrible. The "bosses" never listen to any concern that is voiced by any employee. They always have staff working doubles because they are very understaffed. The cooks use bare hands while handeling food. Some of the aides refuse to do their job and nothing is done. needless to say i wouldnt recomend anyone to put a loved one in this place.

My mother is 95, she is ignored. They do not make sure she gets to the dining room for meals or even take meals to her. I have ate there and the food is terrible. The help does not stay, there is a constant turn over, there are problems with rodents. We are moving her out and would advise everyone to reconsider if thinking of putting a loved one in this place.

This is the most horrible place I have ever been to in my life. There's never enough staff to help your loved ones, and they change staff like you change your clothes. My friend stayed here for two months and her family finally yanked her out of there after her not being changed for over 8 hours one day. It was awful. There was four different residence directors in the time that my friend was there. Don't even get me started on the food. Can't believe that this place is still allowed to take care of people. Very sad.

I used this place because the other assisted living was full--It was always dirty and the help was a revolving door. Food was not acceptable. Think twice if you are considering.
