By looking at chesterwood one would think this place is perfect! My dad came to chesterwood for physical therapy and instead of getting better he has gotten worse! I found him naked on the floor after he had fallen out of bed and the staff did not even check him to see if he was hurt. Instead the hurled him back in bed and lefts to care for him. I have cleaned his room because they were storing his urinals were they but his food tray for meals! They kept him bed ridden the first two weeks he was there because they were too lazy to get him up. Now he has a UTI from sitting wet all day and night. He was so weak when he first arrived that he could not feed himself. They continue to put the food tray in front of him and he cannot feed himself . If a loved one needs to come to chesterwood please keep a close eye on them because the staff does not care about your loved one as much as you do!!!!!!!

Too many negative experiences to name. Very little communication with us - or among the various department workers - in three different levels of care there. Constant aggravation in trying to get the care, the answers and the diet our loved one needed. Had to hire our own LSW to intervene. Maddening and exhausting.
