I cannot say enough wonderful things about Gardens At Westlake. My parents have been there since May 2013 and have a lovely 1 bedroom apartment with a loft and balcony so it feels very roomy, open and sunny all the time. My parents had lived in a spacious 4 bedroom colonial and large yard for over 40 years, so every assisted living or senior living community we visited gave them a claustrophobic feeling. When we toured the Gardens it was an instant hit for all of us! My parents are very happy there with the best loving care and respect. My siblings and I feel we can relax and know they are in wonderful hands. We are on a first name basis with everyone and always feel very welcome when we visit (this includes management, staff and nurses and caregivers). I live very close to the Gardens so I have spent many hours there...visiting my parents, having lunch in the dining room with them or dropping off things at the front desk and I always get such a wonderful greeting and feeling while I'm there. I think the best test was this past Thanksgiving when 10 of my family members (including 1 preschooler and a toddler) decided to spend Thanksgiving dinner AT the Gardens in their
private dining room with my parents. Let me just say not only did everyone go out of their way to accommodate us, but the table was beautifully set, we looked out our window to beautiful views of the woods, and the food was incredible! (all the boys had seconds). After the delicious dinner, we all went upstairs to my parents apartment... the men watched football upstairs in their loft, the grandchildren played games in their bedroom and the women all talked and decorated their living room for Christmas. As we were all leaving that night, we agreed that was one of the BEST Thanksgivings we have had in a long time (my parents felt the same way and said they actually felt like they were entertaining in their home again.) Thank you Gardens At Westlake for giving my parents a real home!

My mother has been at The Gardens for almost four years. It was a rough transition for her, after having lived in the same house for over 50 years. However, we feel that The Gardens was an excellent choice. She has a beautiful 2-bedroom apartment with a balcony and wonderful view. The staff is wonderful and there is a wide variety of activities. I highly recommend this facility.

The Gardens at Westlake has been the perfect place for my parents since moving from their large colonial after 37 years. Their apartment is spacious with an upstairs loft and half bath. They have their little dog, Pru, with them, and she is very much at home there. The staff is very caring and respectful of my parents and the family. We have called about concerns many times and are always assured that issues with my parents are taken care promptly. My parents are safe, comfortable, and happy with their new home. My sisters and I toured many assisted living facilities in the area, and the Gardens' accommodations, amenities, care, safety and activities exceeded our expectations for a new home for my parents. We are always welcomed by friendly staff. It is a happy, comfortable, and loving place to live.

Why choose an assisted living community? Studies reveal that living near peers and participating in social activities leads to a happier life. Assisted living offers senior-friendly residences and a warm staff. You'll have your own private space, so you can bring your favorite furniture, photos, and cookware. You’ll be able to spend time pursuing activities that you enjoy since tasks commonly associated with homeownership will be taken care of. Because independent living communities are intended for older adults who need little or no assistance, most do not offer medical care or supervision. Community services and amenities usually include fitness clubs, dining facilities, swimming pools, golf courses, hiking trails, social events, and more. Gardens at Westlake helps seniors find the worry-free lifestyle they want. In this community, residents have comprehensive assisted living and independent living services, as well as a friendly, supportive community. Within assisted living communities, you'll find help as you need it, with the goal of supplying the aid required to stay as self-sufficient as possible.
