The director of nursing is extremely rude. I've heard nothing but bad things about this nursing facility. Don't try to get a job there, because they like the rude lazy staff members they have

Response: I will agree with the first statement. Although I wasn’t there to see a family member just a friend who was in there temporarily, she is much better thank the lord and savior. You mention that people should come and talk to you but after I seen you go after a nurse down a hall and was quite vocal all the way down, well there’s no way I would go and set across from you and tell you anything negative, a little intense for me. I will say though don’t hold any of this against the nursing home because the rest of the staff really is top notch. Especially the therapy department, If the same fellow is still doing physical therapy there… well he is just a peach. From what I seen everyone just loved him to death.

Response: I also agree the director of nursing is rude but everyone else is sweet and kind

i found the cna's helpful and friendly but the nursing staff less than helpful. At times I would see the DON scolding the staff in the halls or at the desk. I thought this to be less than professional. My mother enjoyed the activities but felt she was not always allowed to make her own choices as in what time to get up or go to bed.

Response: I am not sure if you're talking about the right facility, because I am the DON and if you had any issues with the nursing staff you did not come to me and I can assure I would never "scold" the staff. If I have to counsel with a staff member it is always done in private and with respect and dignity.

Response: As for your family member not being able to choose her own activities, again you never talked with me and I can assure our residents attend the activities they wish too and skip those they wish not to attend.

Response: Our residents do have the right to go to bed and get up when they like.

Response: Your staff is @#$%. The nursing director is very very rude.
