My father and our family decided that he would like to leave this facility and when we went to check him out we had to jump through hoops for the better part of 2 days. They always had some reason that he could'nt be released even though we had a doctors statement that he could make his own care decisions and his decision was that he wanted to leave. The administration would'nt come in to talk with us because it was the weekend! The one person that helped us wound up losing her job because she did her best to help us. The administrater should have been the one that lost her job since several calls were made for her assistance. My father is now in a new home and he could'nt be happier. My advice is if you care about your family, don't take them there.

Response: I know what you mean. I have a family member there and have reported one nurse several times. She is down right hateful and almost abusive towards the residents. Yet she continues to be employed. The other nurses there are very helpful and care deeply for the residents. However, they are the ones that always get the brunt of what the one nurse does. I wish they would get rid of her that place would be a lot better place for our loved ones. The administrator isnt really of any help. She just seems to brush all the bad things under the rug. If things do not change soon we will be moving our family member out of there too.
