Clare Bridge South has gotten worse since these reviews I believe. Lisa, Tammy and the two Jennifer’s that works there are terrible, lazy, unethical and just mean spirited. They are the management, they are the problem. They hide in their office or stand outside and smoke and or chat. This faculty is referred to by me as the senior citizen holocaust center. Abuse, neglect is the name of the game there, and it’s a game there. They lie to your face, when not hiding in the office. Then they hide in the management hiding place with the door shut, which is the office by which the medicine is stored, through the front room and to the left. Anyone that has a family there knows exactly what I am saying. I believe they stay in the hiding place as much as possible which is almost always as to hide from people that they lied to which I believe is anyone they have spoken with. That is why the many reviews say they are always in the office. I have seen people full of @#$% and pee and people eating off the floor. They did not assist my family member with showers, if my family member would have not taken a bath or shower for a month they wouldn’t have cared less. The reminders and assists you pay for forget it. They didn’t assist my family member with showers or reminders to come and eat. They don’t do laundry unless you demand it, and cleaning sheets or the bed, well forget that, the mattress can be full of feces or pee(with your family in it) and they won’t care. Prison looks good to me and I have never been there but I think I would get more services in prison then Clare Bridge South. Forget about going over the local managements head they don't care either. I have been told they just move the staff around to different locations. RUN RUN RUN PLEASE DONT PUT YOUR FAMILY THERE

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!!
I wish I could talk to each of you personally. There are so many things wrong with this facility and its staff. My father was neglected. We would find him in soaking wet cloths, usually not his, and would have to change him ourselves. They do not have a bathroom schedule, so usually most residents were wet and needed changing to dry cloths. Staff members pointed out more that once that when asking for something like toliet paper for his room, that it was not thier job and to find someone else. The Director there was always out doing "training" or if she was there, she would be in her office with the door shut and the blinds closed. The facilit smelled of urine, dirty most of time. Many times we would find residents in the common area unattended for up to 30 minutes at times. Not enough staff. All staff needs training and education on Alzheimer. Most staff wore jeans, piercings, and tatoos showing. In a 4 week period my father had fallen a dozen times with 4 resulting in hospital visits for stitches and concusions. After his last fall, they put his bed on the floor. He is 6 foot tall and already weak, and his bed was on the floor. When we gave notice that we were moving him out the staff did not seem to want to help gathering his belongings. When they finally got his stuff together (we are still missing most of it) it was dumped in a box but most were womens clothing and items. We still do not have all of his belongings. He left the facility with 3 large bed sores. If you love your family, DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY.

Very Poor facility - Please do not leave your loved ones here
Details: This facility is very poorly run. The costs are higher here than other facilities within the same area, offering the same services, but the facility smells of urine; some of the staff are quite unengaged, bordering on neglectful. The administrator has nothing but excuses for her non performance and is very inconsistant in her attendance during the day. When present, she spends most of her time in her office with the door shut and the blinds pulled. The staff is not being trained properly. Examples of what we experienced were: Frequently
finding our parent in other peoples clothing. Lost items - including clothing. Coming in on the weekend to find the entire staff out in the courtyard smoking while one of the female residents was defacating on the floor. On another occasion, finding our parent sitting alone in the dining room instead of being taken back to their room after dinner. When attempting to talk with the administrator just given a lot of excuses about how she cannot control the staff and cannot be there 24X7. Our parent's room had a non-working smoke alarm
(hanging from the ceiling). We notified the administrator of our
impending move and the service became even worse. We gave her 24 hours notice of when we were coming to move our father and that we needed all of his things (medications, supplied we had paid for and clothing all back in his room). When we arrived, nothing was ready, the administrator and her senior staff holed up in the nurses office and did not lift a hand to help; leaving their staff to scramble.
When we made our final return to pick up our parents remaining
items, one of their residents left via the door we were unloading
under. Pure neglect on their part. We did not want the resident or his family to suffer, so we alerted them to the run away resident. The administrator was so intent on not cooperating with us and exhibiting passive/aggressive behavior that they neglected the safety of their resident. Please do not intrust your family with this facility.
