I would not put a loved one here. It's pretty, but there is never enough aids, who are the ones taking care of the resident. The Director of Nursing is so bad, the aids quit within a week. If you have a problem, the administrator and Director of Nursing will give you 'lip service' but that's as far as it goes. A typical big corporation owned place, only the bottom line counts.

I went into dining room about 3:30. There were chicken bones on the floor by the table. One hour later when it was time for dinner, I brought my Mother back into dining room. The bones were still there. Visit was 4/7/13

I was hesitant about placing my mother at Tuscany because of the ratings but we didn't have much time to find a place. The facility is relatively new so I thought some of the ratings may be due to not having all the kinks worked out and the amount of time it takes for bad marks to go off the record. The rooms are the best I've seen anywhere. So far we are pleased overall and most important is that my mother likes it.

Stay away. My mom is in the hospital for the 4th time because of the negligance of the staff. We are trying to find another place for her but most are full. The staff is often more concerned about talking to each other or texting on their cell phones than they are about the residents. Many often are not fed or changed in a timely manner. Administrators are often clueless. Turnover is high. One of the doctors on staff, Dr. Cooper, is rarely there and very uncommunicative. I could go on, but I feel this is a good sypnosis.

The administrator (barbie harter) is a southern kkk. She runs the place like its some kind of a slave ship. Nothing goes without her say and she has managed to surround herself with ghetto staff that dances to her tune all day.she goes around with this fake smirk on her racist face and talks to you like you are wasting her time. It s the most desperate families that take their loved ones to this place. Talk to the staff and they will all tell you one thing: they are in it for the money!!!! She can burn in hell for all they care

Response: This is bogus and written by a terminated angry employee. Please remove the previous post!

Response: We are not here for the money because truth be told it is not worth what we deal with from management. They are rude, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. We have 5 ADON's that are only interested is making the facility money not resident care.

Tuscany is a wonderful place to have a love one as a resident. The staff are very pleasant and when they see a resident they always say hello to them. My mother said that they treat her very well and she loves the food. The premises are very clean and it doesn't smell like a unclean place, if you know what I mean. I would recommend this facility to anyone who cares about there love ones.
