User Reviews

My mother was there a few years ago, I took her out. She was not treated right, they were not capable of taking care of her needs. Not very clean, residents have no activities. I would not choose this place. And the good reviews you are getting is probably from the owners!

Response: I'm curious if your parent was really at this place. Did you talk to the management about the issues you had? If so, what did management do to make changes?

I am a past employee of this place! I do not think its a bad place. Some employees could do a little better and so can management. But its not the greatest place.

I recently toured west wind in hopes of finding a place for my mother to live. Unfortunately they did not have an opening but I was very impressed with the home. The caregivers were kind and helpful. They were very attentive to all the folks living there. The food looked and smelled delicious and I know that my mother would have been very happy there.

My dad lived at West Wind for years until his passing. All of the staff were very caring, helpful, and loving. The home was always clean and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend West Wind Court to anyone looking for a quality, home like environment for their loved one.

Small facility, clean, friendly staff.

Would not put my dog here

Response: It is not true that men and women share the same room (unless married). There is central air and heating in all rooms. Each room has an additional heating system. Most rooms have a french door that leads onto a deck. My mother has been happy there now for years.

I looked at quite a few places for family member. rooms are to small as is the dining area and living room. not enough seating for everyone to be out. Rooms are not designed well. Bathrooms were not that clean and sometimes shared with male and female not appropriate. No activities being done. No air cond. Some residents didnt have nice things to say. Caregivers have to do hair and nails, no beauty person or even salon type facility. Kitchen was pretty dirty apon arrival. went a couple times at different times to observe. Didn't like the welcome or vibe I got from place. Will look elsewhere

This place was not at all what I expected. not very clean, employees look like crack heads and drunks along with some residents. Alot of yelling from caregivers, urine smell. Admin not very nice, seemed high maintenence and rude. Food bank food in kitchen. Residents not happy about food and care given. Owner never there to oversee. No activities at all. Heard rumors of scabies and other diseases in facility.

Response: This is what happens when you fire an employee. Come by West Wind yourself and you be the judge

Response: West Wind Court has worked very hard to earn a wonderful reputaion within the community. It is a shame that a person can anonymously make such untrue and hurtful comments. Come by and visit for yourself or even check the Sate of Oregon website for our facility surveys which have been stellar.
