Homestead Inns Inc homes is lacking quality care for the residents. There is no back up staff in case the staff on duty needs the help, no relief for the staff on duty when caring for the residents. The owner is more concerned about filling the rooms then the care of the residents or the well being of the staff. Its just not a safe place to be for your loved ones.

06/26/2011  -  An OurParents User Writes:

This home appeared disorganized and the employees appeared to be exhausted. I do NOT believe that Aloha Inn is properly staffed for the amount of care their residents need. During the tour, I may have seen the caregiver once and she appeared very stressed. There has been a high turnover and I would be concerned about the care that would truly be provided to my parents. I feel the owner makes huge promises that I do not feel can be kept considering the circumstances. The owner appeared over-eager and I feel she just wanted to fill her empty rooms whether or not her employees could keep up. I would recommend taking your loved ones and their money elsewhere.

Find the perfect balance between quality senior care and flexible living options at Aloha Inn, offering assisted living and independent living services. Offering help with the activities of daily living, along with health services, nutritious meals, and a range of other features, assisted living allows seniors to thrive. Why choose an assisted living community? Studies reveal that living near peers and participating in social activities leads to a happier life. Assisted living offers senior-friendly residences and a warm staff. Communities have additional services that include 24-hour supervision and security, emergency response systems, access to licensed nursing care, chef-prepared meals, and assistance with grooming, dressing, and bathing. Laundry, housekeeping, social programs, and local transportation are typically provided as well. When you are self-sufficient but want to be in the company of your peers, choose indepedent living and enjoy amenities and services geared towards seniors. Intended for both individuals and couples, these senior communities are also known as senior apartments, retirement villages, and communities for 55 and older. Residents stay in private apartments or individual homes with an abundance of community amenities, services, and programs tailored specifically for seniors. You'll have your own private space, so you can bring your favorite furniture, photos, and cookware. You’ll be able to spend time pursuing activities that you enjoy since tasks commonly associated with homeownership will be taken care of. Because independent living communities are intended for older adults who need little or no assistance, most do not offer medical care or supervision. Community services and amenities usually include fitness clubs, dining facilities, swimming pools, golf courses, hiking trails, social events, and more. Aloha Inn helps seniors find the worry-free lifestyle they want. In this community, residents have comprehensive assisted living and independent living services, as well as a friendly, supportive community. Within assisted living communities, you'll find help as you need it, with the goal of supplying the aid required to stay as self-sufficient as possible. When seniors are self-sufficient but want to be in the company of peers, choose indepedent living and enjoy a variety of amenities and services. Seniors find the ideal services and amenities they need to live comfortably at Aloha Inn.
