User Reviews

06/14/2016  -  An OurParents User Writes:

Highland's Care Center staff appear to lie about resident's condition, appear to allow resident's to lie in bed for 1-2 weeks before getting them the hospital care they need; appear to medicate residents with FDA black-box warning drugs and to the point of near-death, appear to deny services due to fabricating resident status and abilities to perform activities of daily living, appear to engage medical staff without medical knowledge needed to adequately assess or provide competent care, and appear to engage area professionals in cover-ups, so the facility could be identified as 5 stars. The place looks good and smells nice, but monitoring agencies should do a better job of watching this facility that wants to ensure they keep their jobs near World End State Park. Company appears under the auspice of REAL ESTATE INVESTORS.
