I worked there for a few yr. You have people who actually care about the residents an then ones who are only there for a paycheck. Once I was there for awhile I started to notice thats management did not care about the care of the residents it was all a show! Which was sad to me because I love the work I do have been doin it for 19 yrs. But to hear the owner say he wants the place to be more like a HOTEL THEN A NURSING HOME floored me. I mean these people pay ALOT of money to live here it is like their home so if they want to sleep in they should be aloud to do so, if they fall asleep watching tv in the middle of the day they are aloud to do so an not have to worry about anyone telling them if they want to sleep they have to go to their room! Its crazy there now. An I got the police called on me because I went to see one of my residents just to visit with her an Bob said I was no longer aloud in the building for any reason which I feel is a violation of residents rights to have visitors. So I had to tell her I couldn't come see her any longer which made her sad I guess because I know WHAT REALLY goes on there an how some people are there for a pay check an not the residents an management lies just to feel a bed he didn't want me talking to the family members who had a good relationship with me still.

Just horrible... This place has gone down hill since all of the ole care givers were either let go or just quit!! This place does not give the kind of care that my mother actually needs. I have found my mother soaked and not touched or taken to the bathroom for hours!! I keep bringing it up to the administration but he doesn't seem too care. The care aides say things will change or how they will do what I ask but never do. Something has got to give around here!!!

We recently admitted a family member to the facility and really like the atmosphere and friendly staff. It feels like you are in someone's home instead of a national corporate chain assisted living facility. The food is good and they have various activities for the residents. We are very pleased.

My mom lived there for awhile. When administration changed it all went down hill. The receptionist was very rude and I would hear her and the activities directer talking and making fun of staff and residents. The new nurse is oblivious to meds and care. And the administrator was just icing on the cake with his inappropriate sexual remarks to staff and residents. The owner could care less about my concerns. Needless to say I got my mom out of there.

The Administrator Bob and Nurse Jackie are horrible and the caregivers do not care about the people living there , they are to busy on the cell phones and chatting to one another and not taking care of residants, the past cook used nothing but frozen foods to feed residents and the number of recent deaths of the residents is alarming.

    Response: wow!!!!!!!!!!!

Response: they used to have cooks that prepared foods from family member loved it then.what happened?have to agree about the cell phones although it was not only caregivers but other departments too!

My Mother was here for a short stay until we could get her into a place that was closer to the family. However the time she was here she was very well cared for. We were very pleased with the care provided and also the atmosphere. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great activities. I liked the idea of it being a smaller facility, with more one on one interaction. Honestly if it weren't for there being a place closer to where all the family is located, I'm sure we would have kept my Mom here.

When they need a reliable hand with services like bathing, dressing, and taking medicine properly, it is there for them. Assisted living communities have many benefits. Studies reveal that living near peers and participating in social activities leads to more satisfaction with life. Assisted living offers senior-friendly apartments and a busy social calendar. Communities have additional services that include 24-hour supervision and security, emergency response systems, access to licensed nursing care, chef-prepared meals, and assistance with grooming, dressing, and bathing. Laundry, housekeeping, social programs, and local transportation are typically provided as well. When you are able to live without assistance, but want the benefits and comfort of living in a senior-friendly community, choose independent living. Intended for both individuals and couples, these senior communities are also known as senior apartments, retirement villages, and communities for 55 and older. Residents stay in private apartments or individual homes with a plethora of community amenities, services, and programs tailored specifically for seniors. You'll have your own private space, so you can bring your favorite furniture, photos, and cookware. You’ll be able to spend time pursuing activities that you enjoy since tasks commonly associated with homeownership will be taken care of. Because independent living communities are intended for older adults who need little or no assistance, most do not offer medical care or supervision. Community services and amenities usually include fitness clubs, dining facilities, swimming pools, golf courses, hiking trails, social events, and more. Autumn Ridge Assisted Living helps seniors find the worry-free lifestyle they want. In this community, residents have comprehensive assisted living, independent living, hospice and respite services, as well as a friendly, supportive community. Within assisted living communities, you'll find help when you need it, with the goal of supplying the aid required to stay as self-sufficient as possible. When seniors are able to live without assistance, but want the benefits and comfort of living in a senior-friendly community, choose independent living. At Autumn Ridge Assisted Living, seniors find the ideal services and amenities they need to live comfortably.
