The Angela Jane Pavilion may have a nice looking rehab center & clean looking facility. But as the saying goes, Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. This is a typical nursing home.
The in-house living care in this place is a JOKE! The aids, nurses (read: LPNs, the RNs have very little to no patient interactions!) and very few RNs are actually staffed, doctors (read: doctors who treat based on a patient’s chart, rather than walking room to room and physically looking at the patient) and the rest of the staff are very rude. Long patient waiting times when call bells are rung, do to short staffing. The 11pm-7am staff is extremely rude when a patient asks for help.

How do I know this, I had to spend every night with my mother while she was there for 4 weeks.
The staff will be all smiles and friendly when family is present. Once family leaves the staff changes their tune.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT send a loved one here!

I was recently hired at Angela Jane once my religion. Was noticed the administration asked if I had to wear my religious attire! I was hurt and upset at first I was initially excited about the job but after being ask to choose my job over my religion I was very upset I plain to contact the EEOC and anyone else. To expose this company social media as well

Response: they hire and fire for all reasons so religion to them is not an issue they just ant cheap help

Horrible place. I worked here. they fired all of the experienced nurses and replaced them with new grads to save money on payroll and health insurance, The owners are heartless and only care about money. They do not care what kind of care the patients receive as long as they make money.NEVER SEND A LOVED ONE HERE, EVER!!!!!!!

not a nice place to work the place has no respect for it's employees at all average lenght of work there is not more than 6-9 months

Response: Hmm. Strange. Why would a company want so much turnover?

Response: because they don't want experienced help just under educated nurses who still are children

Description of Angela Jane Pavilion in Philadelphia, PA

    Built In 2001 , Number of Beds : 49

If you are over fifty-five and are looking for a more comfortable, enjoyable, and convenient way of life, modern-day senior living may be just what you need. Senior living consists of two components: a new kind of housing and a new way of life. When you've grown weary of lawn upkeep, home repairs, and the daily cleaning and maintenance of your home, senior living is a wide, welcoming avenue worthy of exploration. There's independent living, where you take care of yourself (minus only the cooking and housekeeping), to more intense forms of compassionate assistance, such as in nursing or memory care, available around-the-clock. You are encouraged to examine the many styles of senior living and consider a new, convenient way of life.
