ever since belle haven was bought by this new owner, the staff was cut almost half, the patients are getting horrible care. can barely find anyone because they are always helping other patients. on 6/2/2013 they didn't receive dinner until 7pm, more than once the snack tray did not come until 10 pm some times not at all , they're not even giving them bottle water they are giving them town water which has been brown a couple times I saw it. there was just a heatwave and no air conditioning in room, in fact there is heat on in some of the rooms. we are not upset with nursing staff, who work the floors, they care about the patients and are doing the best with what is provided for them, however the home that was once great is now only about profit.

Belle haven is NOT what it used to be. Since the new owners took over they fired 3/4 of the staff. The care is aweful. They would make my mother wait 45minutes to take her to the bathroom or tell her to mess her diaper. This is NOT care.

I did not tour this facility, but they contacted me very quickly after I submitted a query and were very thorough and prompt in providing information about their facility. The woman who contacted me seemed to be very proud of the facility and the residents. I wish we would have had time to tour it, but we were in a crisis with our parents and they had to be placed immediately.
