At last check, the facility had 120 residents indicating that it is 87% occupied which is about average within the state of Pennsylvania. The provider accepts both medicare and medicaid programs, and provides resident and family counseling services.
This nursing home is located in a hospital. As of November 2012, the medicare rating for Pinecrest Manor, was 3 stars, which is a better rating than 57% of nursing homes in Pennsylvania. Important to note that this facility has recently improved and has gone from 2 stars to 3 stars.

My mother is currently a resident. Her quality of care is less than average. Staff is usually at a shortage and reporting on patients status from shift to shift is inadequate. My family has complained on numerous occassions but nothing ever changes. I would not recommend this facility for long term care for your loved ones.
