07/08/2013 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: I've seen many nursing homes & this is one of the best. It's not glitzy & new, but my mother has received very good care during her almost 5 years as a resident. I'm not saying it is perfect - no nursing home is - but I've found almost everyone who has ever had contact with my mom to be truly concerned for what is in her best interests. Any problems we have had have been addressed quickly & efficiently. By the way, my family has been associated with the Topton Home for many years; my father, grandmother, aunt, & uncle were residents prior to their deaths. Another aunt is currently living independently on the campus. The bottom line: my family trusts the Lutheran Home at Topton.

11/08/2011 An Current/Past Resident Writes: i was abused terribly as child in there home for children ruined my life totally

Response: I know they did. They did it to a lot of kids. And now they hide as a 'decent' nursing home. Please don't ever put me in there, I'd rather be six feet under.
