The apartments are in good repair. Bathrooms are nice water pressure is great!
There are security doors, emergency pull cords throughout the apartments, and a non invasive check of every resident every night (they hang a sign on the outside door knob that says "I am ok").
They have a "vial of life"that every resident keeps in their freezer that has a list of medical needs and medications in case of emergency.
There are a few busses that go by all day every day except Sunday.
Neighbors tend to meddle and tattle on eachother to the building manager as to be expected in a building full of single seniors. LOL But it is a very friendly community it is very healthy for people who would otherwise be isolated from social contact.
They have a library with 2 computers and printers with internet , Laundry, garbage shoot, a game/vending room, group trips and excercise classes, a nice sitting area with a view of the mountain on every floor. They decorate for all of the holidays. They have a pharmacy and store RITAID connected to the building.
There is also a CEO food bank that has free meals that are prepared for anyone who needs it every day. 2 elevators that break often but 1 is usually working all the time
I feel great about my mother living here, she is safe and independant yet there is someone to check on her just incase on the days I cant.Yet she has complete freedom to come and go and complete privacy. She has many friends and neighbors that she would never have if she lived any where else.
This is a good place for a person who can care for themselves
