I could not ask for a better place to take care of my mom after she was told she needed rehab.

From the moment I walked into this facility I was very pleased. It did not have that "nursing home" smell that I have encountered before. All the staff was friendly and greeted me when touring the facility. I can not say enough about Lisa who does admissions. She was friendly, honest, and took more than enough time to talk to me and even answered questions that I was going to ask. My dad came in for therapy and it was amazing. He recovered faster than expected and he was doing better when he left than before he had even gotten sick. I will tell anyone that asks Fountain Inn Nursing & Rehab is the best place to put a loved one if this service is needed.

I was scared to put my mom in a nursing home. When I walked into Fountain Inn Nursing home, I was greeted with a smile and hello. I did not have an appointment and Lisa who does admissions took time out of her day, and talked to me for at least an hour. She thoroughly explained and answered all of my questions on what we needed to do to have my mom come from the hospital to the facility. I was taken on a tour and was able to look at rooms and I was even able to participate in what room would be best to put my mom in. After my mom arrived the nursing staff(Jennifer and Sara) were very nice and accommodating. If we had any issues they were addressed promptly. I can not say enough about the therapy department - David and Michelle are amazing! Overall, we were extremely happy with the care my mom received, and if ever needed we will bring her back to Fountain Inn Nursing Home.

I can not say enough about this facility and staff. They are caring, thoughtful, understanding, and informative of my mom's care. All places have problems, but they took the time to listen to any issues I had, and they resolved those issues in a timely manner. I will recommend them to anyone.

My father has been in this facility for one month and we are thrilled with our/his experience. He was in another facility for about 3 months in another State. He feels like he has moved into a resort, has found the staff extremely caring, kind and loving. They are so quick in responding to his every need. The therapy department/room is well equipped and the therapists are professional, personable and kind. My father is very pleased with the nursing care, the meals, the aides, the administration, maintenance, and many of the other residents. We, his family, are pleased with his adjustment and the openness of all in the facility.

My Father was there ( in room 202) of the old building. He was given fantastic care and comfort. The assistants are just like family. Barbara, Keia, Lisa, beverly, felecia, and all the rest..... wonderful people and care a lot for the residents.

Response: My father did enjoy good care in the old building...I am sorry to say that now we are hearing that the new building is just a pretty place. The care has gone down. Big turnover of help. Cost is actually above any other facility with more negatives in care than others. I am now looking for a place for my Mom and am sorry to say that I will more than likely send her to another facility with better care even though its not a NEW Building.

Response: I'm finding the same as you. Pretty building does not equal good care :-(
