I agree the building is old, but my mother did not care. The staff are excellent and the therapy was much better than at other places. I hear they are going to change their building around to modernize it, but even without that, we were extremely happy with everything!

I found the care and staff to be outstanding. I was able to receive Therapy and returned home ahead of my doctor's expectations.

The Health Care Center is an older building than the rest of the independent campus as we found out when we moved mom from Assisted Living. (Which was GREAT!) Mom needed extra help than allowed by law, so the move was hard, but required.

I have to say the environment of the Nursing Home felt like a hospital, but the quality of care and the caring staff were outstanding. Mom need the extra help and the staff were angles while she was there.

When she passed she was never alone and staff held her hand until she left us.

We are blessed to have the wonderful care and staff at the Nursing Home, they need to update the building.

When the "marketing" department says independent living, they mean it! There is no nurse on staff to assist with minor injuries to those in the assisted living portion of this institution. My grandmother fell and ended up spaining her arm. No one was available to check on her with minor nursing assistance. Other residents had to assist her until our family could arrive and then took her to the hospital's urgent care.

If this place is non-profit, I'd hate to see what Exxon calls themselves!

Response: I live at Wesley Commons and it appears this person is confused with the different parts of our campus. We, independent residents, are here for a great lifestyle and fellowship. The staff is great about helping those of us when we need it, but we are not in a nursing home.
