They will tell you anything to satisfy you, they do only what they have to get by. I would not recommend this nursing home.

Response: I agree with you, Golden Age is far from "golden"! My sister was in her room, stuck in het bed with het door closed; found by her daughter in vomit and vomiting on the floor with her bed lowered all the way down to the floor. My sister was yelling for help. Thank God her daughter got there when she did; Her daughter had the staff call for EMS and got her to the hospital! There were maybe 4 people who work there that I would trust. Most of the time the place smells of urine. My sister was given pain medication when she didn't need it, even though her daughter instructed the staff to withhold the pain meds unless it was acetaminophen. My sister was supposed to be there for physical rehabilitation so she could get her strength back and come home, but she is in worse shape than when she arrived. She will not be back!
