I work for a temp nursing agency and have gone to 26 different nursing homes through out SD including Avera Mother Jo. I can honestly say that this is one of the (if not the) best nursing home I have had the privdledge to work in. They have a high expectations for their staff to provide nothing but the highest level of quality care for their residents. They are much more advanced than most facilities that I have worked in and keep their facility exceptional clean. If I were to ever have to make the decision to place one of my own parents or loved one in a nursing home or skilled nursing facility, out of every nursing home in the state of SD; this nursing home is one of the only homes I would be able to place them in and know they are getting nothing but the best care!!
