The staff members walk the hall arguing about who will care for whom instead of caring for them. I witnessed a patient that was not helped up to the bathroom the first time in a day until 11 am. They don't help clean up the patients. Smells of urine. Was there in the evening and patient's bed had not been prepared for bed at 8 pm. I asked a nurse about making it and when I left 40 minutes later, still not made and staff was chatting at nurses station - not busy. Left patient In chair all day with call button out of reach. On weekend it is the worst - no administrator there.

What is senior living? Both words in this phrase are essential, but the key is “Living!” Simply put, senior living is for those age 55 and older who still want to get everything they can out of life—with excellent value, excellent care, and excellent times. It means an engaged, satisfied lifestyle based upon your wants and needs. For some it means independent living, a way to live as usual but without the hassles of home ownership or maintenance. For others it means assisted living, a type of retirement community that still emphasizes your freedom and independence, but always with a ready, friendly staff to assist as needed. For those requiring more intensive help with physical needs or with Alzheimer’s or dementia, senior living means nursing care and memory care. Senior living offers comprehensive continuing care, where retirees can “age in place,” moving from one form of care to another as needed. Finally, senior living also means in-home care, where trained staff help retirees in their current home.
