The staff did the minimal they had to do to provide care for my father. I went in one evening to find him sitting in his room in his wheelchair in a t-shirt, depends type underwear, covered in a blanket with his dinner in front of him and him yelling he was cold when he wasn't coughing up phlegm. The staff response. They were coming back to him when they took care of other residents. My dad was incapable at that time of feeding himself. The next day I get a call that they think dad has pneumonia. 2 different times I met dad at his doctor's appointment and they had sent dad out in 30 degree weather without a coat. Both times they said they couldn't find it even though it was in his wardrobe the entire time. Later his coat was stolen. My dad passed on the last day of the month. I had paid the next Month's bill the day before he passed. They deposited the check even though he was no longer a resident there. We requested it be returned along with the overcharge from the previous month. They continue to give us the run around even though it has been a month. We believe they hope we will forget about it.

Thanks to everyone for your prayers...Mom is getting ekg,mri and alot of other test! This morning the rehab/nursing home calls where her husband is because he fell and broke his shoulder a few weeks ago. He was rushed to the hospital with 103 temp and can't breath. My mom has been staying by his side there 12 hours a day because they only have one nurse for like 30 patients. If she was not there they would not bath him for weeks. They went 7 days no bath! I swear Its just a numbers game with these places. They just flip bodies, move them in move them out! 4 Techs and One Nurse quit in one week because they won't hire any help! The administrator told me they have the amount of nurses the state requires! That means to heck with these people If one person can't take care of 30 people then some die! Oh well is their attitude, not our patients are not getting cared for so lets hire another nurse. It's all about the dollar!! There are people just rolled out in the halls and left to sit there for hours. They have dementia etc. They just beg for attention. If they can't feed themselves to bad. SO POINT IS YOU BETTER TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND GIVE THE BODY WHAT IT NEEDS (VITIMINS AND HERBS) because our great Health Care System IS NOT GOING TO TAKE CARE OF YOU!. Once you get old they are done with you! Older people cost them too much money! Very obvious they just want to let them die! This week 2 people died across the hall from them. They were having a heart attack, no one to try and save their life. Just layed in the floor and died! I THINK I AM GOING INTO POLITICS NOW! NOT PUTTING UP WITH THIS!

My Aunt got transferred from a Memphis facility recently. A major difference between the office staff. Mt. Juliet really knows their stuff. Assisted us to make the transition seamless. Also, when my aunt arrived, the nurses noticed that her arm was hurting her. They took ex rays and found she had a broken shoulder. They called and asked me if it was okay to take her to emergency. Low and behold, she does have a broken shoulder but it happened at her previous facility in Memphis. Mt. Juliet has already gotten an orthopedic doctor appt for her and things are moving along as they should. What a difference with the communication and professional attitude.
